I spent three years pretending to understand the intricacies of medieval poetry whilst studying for a degree in English Literature at Robinson College, Cambridge University. That said, there were some “fun” elements to the course and I actually enjoyed writing two dissertations during my final year, however sad that may sound! It was also fairly enjoyable trying to make the most out of Cambridge’s very limited nightlife. Needless to say it allowed my spontaneous, creative side to flourish…
